Dani is a California native raised in a small city north of Santa Barbara.  She moved to LA for college and then to San Diego where she got her M.P.H at SDSU. Dani radiates positive energy but she has faced some major struggles in life. When she was young she was misdiagnosed which resulted in me being in a wheelchair for several years (3 surgeries, titanium pins in and out of her hips). She lost the ability to freely walk, run, dance, bike, etc. The experience was very tough and humbling all at the same time. It taught her some of her hardest and best lessons at an early age. After this experience, Dani vowed to never to take her body and all that it can do for granted. She loves to celebrate her body and all it can do by dancing it out on a bike!

“Find your freedom in the music”

Dani fell in love with indoor cycling about 10 years ago. She found herself creating playlists and jamming out to them out on her road bike imagining what choreography she would do for that song. She became a diehard regular at various spinning classes. One day at one of the classes she attended the regularly scheduled instructor was unable to make it and there was no one able to fill in. The class was going to be canceled but several of the regulars asked if she would mind ‘subbing’ for the class, as they knew she was an avid rider. She didn’t want to let the class down so she seized the opportunity and the rest is history!

What can you expect when you ride with Dani? Dani rides are all about focusing on the beat of the music. Her style is to keep it fun, motivational and fresh! She’s been teaching in the San Diego area for 9 years and is really excited to get to know & connect with the Pure community!
