Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear to a Pure Ride class?

We suggest sporting a tee or tank on top and form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom. Avoid long, loose-fitting pants which risk being tangled in the bike. I forgot my workout gear at home, should I cancel my ride? No need to cancel, we have tons of fun apparel options available for purchase at our studio.

Do I need to bring my own water?

As with any workout hydration is key! We have bottled water for purchase and water refill stations in our studio for your convenience.

Should I eat before my ride?

Eating a light snack at least 30-45 minutes before your ride will keep your blood sugar up and your energy strong!

When should I arrive for my ride?

First time guests should arrive at least 15 minutes before class. Returning riders are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before class.

What do I do once I arrive?

If you reserved in advance, you can sign-in at the front desk (required for first time riders) or check in at one of our check-in kiosks, located in our main reception area. It’s important to sign-in when you arrive. If you’re not signed in 5 minutes before class, your spot may be released to allow for walk-ins or riders on our waitlist.

Do I need to bring my own cycling shoes?

Wearing clipped in cycling shoes during a ride offers a more secure position on the bike and a more effective workout. We provide complimentary shoes for every class. We also have shoes available for purchase. If you prefer to bring your own cycling shoes, our pedals are compatible with LOOK Delta and SPD cleats.

Do you have showers and lockers in your studio?

For your convenience, we offer restrooms, changing rooms and showers. Our showers are equipped with towels & premium toiletries. We also provide lockers outfitted with keyless locks. Instructions on how to secure your belongings are on the inside of each locker or you can always ask a Pure Team member to demonstrate for you.

How do I set up my bike?

Being properly set up on the bike is the key to getting the most out of your ride. Not only does proper alignment ensure you are working efficiently and effectively, but it also prevents injury. As a new rider, it is important that one our skilled staff members assist you in setting up your bike. On all of our bikes you can customize:

  • Seat height
  • Fore/aft seat position
  • Handlebar height
